biq
Hans van der Heijden and Rick Wesseis established biq in 1994. The practice focuses on urban design projects and has completed a number of large scale renewal schemes in both the Netherlands and the UK.
In 1996, biq won the Europan-4 competition for the redevelopment of a housing estate in Liverpool. In the same year their renovation of an existing neighbourhood in Schiedam was shortlisted for the World Habitat Awards.
